Sunday Drive Uncovers The Where Abouts of Bean Blossom Covered Bridge

Hi Friends! I heard about this covered bridge that is just outside of Nashville, Indiana, and I roped Ron into driving me there to see it.

The drive itself was fun.  From hwy 46 we took Greasy Creek Road to Bear Wallow Hill Road to Bean Blossom Road.

And then we found this place, in Nineveh.

Everything made from scratch.

Pretty table linens inside and out.

We walked through the gardens.

And barns and sheds, full of antiques

And then we set off again to find the covered bridge.  We found it, just outside the town of Bean Blossom.  It's a pretty bridge.

We followed this car across the creek and into town, which consists of a corner of the roadway with an antique store and a couple of other buildings.

I thought of my brother-in-law Bill when I saw the old cars here.

And then we headed for home, back in Bloomington.  We had a lovely Sunday drive.

I hope you all are having a wonderful week.  Take a drive out in the country, it restores the soul.  And, you don't know what you'll find.

Love ya!
